The Motorcycle Arrives

In honour of Javelin's new Barbour Steve McQueen Campaign, the guys at TripleMoto have lent us a Triumph Bonneville T100 (which to those of you who are not in the know is a massive shiny motorcycle!) Polished to perfection, it arrived this morning and is now the star of our window display. Well ... one of the stars, Steve McQueen is there too. The bike had to have a little cool down outside the front of the shop first and then it was installed by our creative stylist with the help of Henry and the Triple Moto guys. I would have helped but I was taking pictures, and I didn't really want to.

Above is a picture of many concentrating faces negotiating the bike into the window whilst inquisitive Ben watches from the sideline. He's probably thinking of a question to ask.

Packing up the Sale

Have you ever wondered where the sale goes? The Javelin Outlet Shop! Here's a picture of Mark packing up and scanning out the Sale from the Bury St. Edmunds store and then, a short journey later, a very happy Nadine unpacking it all at The Javelin Outlet Store, which can be found on Friar's Street in Sudbury, open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am until 5pm. The Outlet Store is also now online so you can enjoy all your favourite Javelin brands for less.

For the “Thank Javelin It’s Friday” campaign, we turned to our very own Javelin team to help create the photo shoot. The staff picked their favourite summer festival outfits and we headed out for a sunny afternoon in Nowton Park. Kelly and Portia picked clothes from the Glamorous brand, with Hunter wellies, just in case the weather turned. The boys, Henry and Greg, went for shorts and shirts. Kelly brought along her tent (which won an award at V festival last year) but it didn’t pop up as easily as she’d promised. After struggling with that for a while, the team were quite happy to stop for an ice-cream break and were soon jumping off benches. Shooting on location was certainly fun. The “TJIFriday” promotion runs throughout August. Every Friday this month we are giving away £50 of Javelin Vouchers to spend in store or online in the TJI Friday Prize Draw.
